2010 Seattle Seahawks
Coach Mora is out and former USC Trojans head coach Pete Carroll has taken the reins of the Seattle Seahawks. Mora, who served only one season, compiled a 5-11 record and was fired on January 8, 2010.
The team has done little so far to address their offensive line issues and need an OT with the retirement of Walter Jones and Sean Locklear’s injuries. The franchise also needs to address their Safety issues and their Defensive End issues. With the team letting Deon Grant go, they may be looking to use one of their top draft picks to solidify the safety spot and the team recently released DE Patrick Kerney and will struggle with the pass rush unless his replacement is addressed.
2009 Seattle Seahawks
Former Assistant Head Coach Jim Mora officially took the reins of the team two days after the end of the season and began reassembling his coaching staff bringing on Casey Bradley as the new Defensive Coordinator and Dan Quinn as the D-Line Coach. Greg Knapp replaced Gil Haskell as the Offensive coordinator and Robert Price replaced WR’s coach Keith Gilbertson.
The Seahawks acquired WR great T.J. Houshmandzadeh and RB Edgerrin James in the offseason. Look for the Seahawks to get back into the playoff hunt and for the Seahawks ticket to be one hard one to find
2008 Seattle Seahawks
In his last year of his contract, Head Coach Mike Holmgren was looking to lead his team back to the NFC West title but just the opposite happened. Coming off a 10-6 record, and losing very few players in the off season, the team looked poised to repeat their winning ways. As it went, injuries took their toll and the Seahawks managed only four victories to twelve defeats. Mike Holmgren stepped down at the end of the season. |
